  • Ian Croft

    Ian has and continues to be instrumental in the development of Streets Media Chartered Accountants. From the early days of his first clients to today with the firm’s growing reputation in the media industry, he has retained his personal interest and passion for supporting and looking after his clients. Ian is at home dealing with a runner starting out on their career path to an Oscar winning Director. With the growth of the practice, he has focused on ensuring the team grows with him and that they share his interest for the media industry and looking after the often sector specific financial and tax needs of those that work within it.

    Ian’s work with his clients covers a wide range of services from budgeting and sales and acquisitions to project fundraising. This work includes the use of crowd sourcing platforms, advising on film tax credits relief and assisting with investment through the Enterprise Investment Scheme (EIS) or the Seed Enterprise Investment Scheme (SEIS).

  • James Hargreaves

    James has focused on looking after the accountancy, tax and financial advisory needs of those engaged in media and entertainment for over many years. He has a well established portfolio of clients which include performance artists, freelancers, directors, film production companies and post production houses.

    James prides himself on his understanding of the media industry and the needs of those that work within it. His pragmatic and professional yet personable approach is well received by his clients. In addition to ensuring the financial affairs of his clients are in order, James also supports clients in terms of specialist media industry tax, commercial transactions and financial advice.

  • Rory Colhoun

    Rory is responsible for looking after a growing portfolio of media and entertainment clients. In particular his focus is on ensuring clients’ affairs are managed in a timely and efficient manner and that their financial affairs are in order. He is also on hand to provide advice about general tax planning and compliance, along with the use of cloud accounting apps and software to make record keeping easier.

    Whilst clients benefit from his expertise as an accountant, they also benefit from his knowledge and understanding of the media industry. Prior to joining Streets Media Chartered Accountants, Rory qualified with a Top 20 UK accountancy firm with a boutique offering in media. He welcomes the opportunity and challenge of being part of a firm totally dedicated to the industry, with a broader service provision and diversity of clients.

  • Erica Manderfield

    Erica Manderfield joined Streets in 1990 after qualifying as a Tax Consultant with a Top Six Firm, she began her career as a special compliance executive in H M Revenue & Customs and is now a Tax Partner.

    Erica has a wealth of expertise in PAYE Compliance matters, including H M Revenue & Customs enquiries, status issues, Benefits in kind, and related expenses issues. She provides in house PAYE compliance checks for all types of businesses with a view to limiting potential PAYE liabilities. She gives advice on company cars and the provision to employees of tax effective benefits and other assets.

    Erica works closely with high net worth clients in relation to Inheritance tax and trust tax planning matters, to help provide long term tax planning strategies.

  • Mark Carr

    Mark is a Chartered Accountant and started Mark Carr & Co in May 1999, deciding to dedicate the practice to looking after the accountancy, financial and tax advisory needs of those involved in the entertainment industry.

    In April 2018 Mark Carr & Co became part of the Streets organisation and its specialist media and entertainment group. This enables Mark to continue to look after his clients, expand the services offered and to look after a growing portfolio of clients.

    Mark regularly attends the Actors Centre, London, the UK’s leading organisation which supports actors throughout their careers. Mark offers financial support and guidance to actors attending the Centre. He also presents on aspects of finance and tax at various Drama Schools.

    Mark is based in our Brighton office but also meets with clients at the firm’s Covent Garden office in London.

  • Tom Mills

    Tom is a Chartered Accountant with significant experience of looking after the financial and tax needs of clients, including those who are self employed as well as limited companies and company directors.

    Tom has a wealth of knowledge covering all aspects of accountancy and taxation including VAT, R&D tax credits, PAYE, Income Tax and Capital Gains Tax. His empathy for clients and understanding of their needs means he is ideally placed and widely appreciated by those in the media and entertainment sector.

  • Sophie Kavanagh

    Sophie is a Chartered Accountant and a Chartered Tax Adviser. She has an in-depth knowledge of the financial reporting and management of clients in the media industry. As a tax professional she is also involved in advising on the taxation of individuals and businesses. This includes looking after personal tax clients and also dealing with other matters such as EIS and SEIS applications, share option schemes and film tax credit claims. Sophie is also playing a key role in supporting clients who are looking to get to grips with HMRC’s Making Tax Digital (MTD) programme.

  • Paul Tutin

    Paul became Chairman of the Streets Group in 2003 and has a wealth of experience, advising on all aspects of accounting, taxation and investment but with a strong auditing bias. His client base encompasses PLCs, international private groups, foreign companies, professional firms and family companies.
